Dr. Sung J. Hong and his staff represent the core of the
California Dental Specialty Group. We invite

PROSTHODONTIST :
Dr. Sung J. Hong is an American Board Certified
Prosthodontist, a Fellow of the International
Congress of Implantologists, and a Fellow of the
American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Hong
was graduated from the USC School of Dentistry
with a D.D.S. degree, and received the Outstanding
Achievement Award from USC and the O.K.U. Award
from the National Dental Honorary Society.
He completed his residency in prosthodontics at
the UCSF Graduate School of Dentistry and holds
an MA Degree in Educational Psychology. Dr. Hong
teaches prosthodontics at the UCSF School of Dentistry
as a course director and is a member of both the
American Dental Association and the California
Dental Association.
The California
Dental Specialty Group specializes
in the latest techniques for crowns, bridges,
implant-supported restorations, cosmetic procedures,
complete and partial dentures, complete mouth
reconstruction, orthodontia, oral surgery, and
periodontal treatment.

ORTHODONTIST :
Dr. Thomas L.
Chou received his Doctor of Dental Medicine
degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine
in 1982, and received a Certificate of Advanced
Graduate Study in Orthodontics from Boston University
in 1988. He practiced both general dentistry and
orthodontics in Massachusetts for a number of years
before moving to Northern California and beginning
his private practice in Orthodontics in 1996. Dr.
Chou brings a wealth of experience in General Dentistry,
TMJ, and orthodontics to the California Dental Specialty
Group.
FAMILY AND COSMETIC DENTISTRY :
 Kavitha Ravi, DDS
Dr. Kavitha Ravi obtained her Fellowship in Craniofacial Molecular Genetics and Stem Cell Research from UOP Dugoni School of Dentistry and went on medical missions to provide free dental care to cleft lip and palate patients. She received her DDS degree from UCSF School of Dentistry.
She is a highly trained and experienced dentist with a warm and caring personality. She received her first dental degree from India and went on to complete a three year residency program in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics. She has many years of experience practicing in India before relocating to the U.S.A.
Dr. Ravi continues to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology through continuing education programs and regularly updates her skill sets. Her goal is to provide highest quality of dental care to patients of all ages.
She is an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara County Dental Association, and American Cleft Lip and Palate Association.
In her free time, Dr. Ravi loves to travel with her husband and son. She also likes to paint, cook and bike.
